EDEN/SYNOT TIP ARENA - The plan of Slavia for the winter preparatory season includes the winter physical training camp in the Giant Mountains at the hotel Svycarska bouda and a summer training camp in Canary Islands. LILLE – Slavia ended the autumn season and also their first ever participation in the UEFA Europa League with a loss at LOSC Lille, but played a nice attacking game, though the mistakes in the defence meant the loss of the hopes for the better result. The pitch in Lille was fairly good though the weather was freezing like near the polar circle. The home side attacking football brought fruit in 25th minute when Cabaye stole the ball from Trubila and sent the ball in alongside goalkeeper Romanovs.   more »

EDEN/SYNOT TIP ARENA – It was a heart-breaking evening for Slavia players and fans. They see two goals in the Genoa net, but none of them stand. And it was not easy to swallow, as the first goal scored by Stanislav Vlcek was a harsh offside decision, while the last minute goal was not allowed due to a faul which was difficult to spot not only in the stadium, but also on the TV coverage. Slavia played one of the best games of the autumn season, Stanislav Vlcek came close in the 4th minute when his shot was stopped on the goal-line by one of the defenders. In 25th minute Crespo saw his cross-shot well saved by Slavia keeper Deniss Romanovs.   more »
